Andean instrument similar to a lute or guitar. Their wide repertoire includes the traditional Andean music that is the Duo's specialty, modern
compositions by Chilean composers, and also some refreshing new arrangements
of Baroque music (Vivaldi, Telemann, etc.) plus new works written for them.
They have been featured in concerts all over the US and were interviewed on
NPR recently. This will not be a "stuffy" program; children of all ages
will enjoy seeing and hearing this.
